We feel strongly that music can and does reach people across borders, and beyond definitions of race, space, and time.  We believe that music has the power to unite people in a common vibration and for a common cause.  Music is a beautiful, enjoyable vessel through which to affect positive change.

That said, a new idea is forming.  As our two founders are musicians and we are planning on using this journey in to the Amazon to expand our music, work with other musicians, learn different instruments, and begin a music school, we are deciding to put forth "Music for the Amazon."  The idea is that any musician who would like to donate a percentage of their sales to protecting the Amazon and empowering locals to sustain themselves economically (as these two aspects of our projects must go hand in hand to be successful) will be sponsored on our website as a collaborating musician and welcomed to join us at anytime in the jungle.

We have our first group (Mad Hallelujah Tribe, based out of New Zealand) who has offered 50% of their newest album sales to be put forth to The Peoples' Forest Project (TPFP).  One of our co-founders has also put forth an EP for the project.  Bryan Jay will be giving 90% of album sales to TPFP.  Finally, a new musical collaboration has taken form between TPFP's founders with a music project simply called "The Peoples' Forest Project."  We will be donating all of our proceeds to TPFP programs which includes 10% for administration costs.

We will begin recording others as well and build this in to the future.  We have recorded and released our first album from the local musicians.  The album is for Taita Jose Mora.  You can check out his music at https://taitajosemora.bandcamp.com/album/ufa-yag. All the proceeds will go to him and his family.

Right now our three groups are Bryan jay, The Peoples' Forest Project (Featuring Bryan Jay and Makete), and Mad Hallelujah Tribe.  Check out the drop down tabs under Music for a Cause to listen to their music and donate to the project and the musicians.  Much love.
